Once again Muslims around the world find ourselves in the line of bullets, Afghanistan, Palestine, Saudi America, Chechnya, The Philippines, Kashmir, India, Bosnia, Kosovo.....I think you get the picture.
This Website has been launched in order to give you some indication of what the word 'Jihad' means in the Sense of defending Muslims Lands. As we all know the word Jihad literally means 'struggle', therefore one must assume that to 'struggle' For the Path of Allah SWT is the best form of 'Jihad'.
In this Day and Age there are too many 'Armchair Muftis', Self styled Moulanas some with professional qualifications from Saudi Arabia, and others with 'knowledge' they have gained from books. If you listen to them, especially on the topic of Jihad you will be left confused and be-wildered, is this their intention or are they themselves misguided?
The following exceprts have been taken from Sheikh Abdullah Azzam's Book 'Join The Caravan'.
There are plenty of people out there telling you all sorts of falsehoods, some say "Jihad is not Farz upon me as I live in the UK/ USA', others say that Jihad cannot be called without a Caliph [see link for answer to this ], Others do even better and say that we must fight our inner demons, i.e. our 'nafs' before we are liable for Jihad, they call this 'the greater Jihad'... look at No 10. on page at the end of this link
The Sheikh's book explains the obligation of Jihad upon the Ummah ACCORDING TO SHARIAH [Allah SWT's Law] . If you still have no 'yaqeen' [ faith ] in what this man says, then your heart must truly be sealed.....
